This is not a pop culture website but some of the greatest Hollywood moments are when movies and cars overlap. In this instance the upcoming Ford v. Ferrari film tells one of the greatest stories in the history of motorsport which is when Ford gave Ferrari all they could handle and then some at the 1966 24 Hours of Lemans.
The story is legendary as are the men who participated in it. Names like Carroll Shelby, Ken Miles, Enzo Ferrari, Bruce McLaren, and Henry Ford II.
This is one every automotive enthusiast should see as it depicts a unique era in motorsport that simply can never be replicated which showcased American willpower, ingenuity, and muscle.
Let's hope the film does does the story of the 1966 Le Mans justice.
